In a word - fresh!
Ever since that crazy wind blew into Bocas del Toro last week, causing havoc on the hig seas, the weather has been wonderfully fresh. Sleeping is rico indeed - like a frisky summer night in Northern Ontario… I’d take a week of this every month no troubles. Loving it! and the no rain option is a huge add on. This should be heavy downpour season, but nothing but fresh winds and dry skies.

Ahhh - beautiful! I like chilly nights too so this is music to my ears. Do they sell blankets in Bocas or do have to go to Almirante or David? When I stayed at Hotel Max it was a bit chilly and I asked for a blanket and Shirley, the owner just laughed and said, “We don’t have blankets here!”
Maybe we will actually be able to use a fireplace once in a while! You mentioned that you were going to have one in your main house and I thought it might be wishful thinking to ever need it - but who knows!

Keep up the weather reports - it is great knowing what is really going on there. The Yahoo weather report has said pretty much the same thing for a year now! For those in the know -it’s the subtleties that are the seasons of Bocas…
