Here is a satellite shot of Bocastown. The location of our departure dock is noted, as well as watertaxi docks and the international airport.

A shot looking south over Bocas toward Dolphin Bay and Isla Cristobal.

Again a shot from the north, but from a higher altitude and further up Isla Colon. All four main islands are visible in this aerial photo - Bastimentos to the far left, with Solarte along the inside, Carenero is the narrow strip just off Bocastown, Isla Cristobal is to the right and Popa is in the very back to the left. You can also see, between Cristobal and Popa, the mainland pennisula that juts out into the sea, encompassing the communities of Buena Esperanza and Tierra Oscura.

Here’s an aerial shot of Bocastown before the real estate boom arrived in the area. Stretches of empty waterfront right downtown probably going for a few dollars per square metre. I would like to date this photo… the best clue is the half completed airport runway.
